Butter Basted Salmon

A lemony baste for salmon using Adagio lemon grass tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tbsp. fresh chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp. lemon grass
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. salmon, either steaks or 1 large fillet

Directions

Combine all baste ingredients and mix well.

For baked fish, brush salmon with baste and bake in preheated 450°F oven, about 10 min. per 1" of thickness.

For broiled fish, brush salmon with baste and broil 4-6" from heat, 10 min. per 1" of thickness.
