Smokey Cheese-n-Spinach Stuffed Chicken

The smokey flavor gives just the needed twist on this easy, traditional favorite.

Prep Time: Prep: 20 Minutes
Bake: 50 minutes
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients
  • 4 Chicken Breast Halves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp butter
  • _________
  • (For stuffing)
  • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen spinach (thawed & squeezed)
  • 1 tsp Lapsang Souchong tea leaves, ground
Directions
Heat oven to 375F, grease pan.
Mix stuffing ingredients, set aside.
Remove bones from chicken, leave skin on, but loosened. Insert 1/4 of stuffing mix between skin and meat of each chicken breast. Place in pan, drizzle with butter & season with salt/pepper. Bake uncovered in greased pan for 50 minutes (or until no longer pink.)
