Submitted by: Anna Kipps

This marinade combines the essence of citrus and a hint of spice with a traditional cranberry flavor to create a delicious new taste experience. Its great for use in baking, broiling or grilling!

Prep Time: 5 minutes prep, cook time varies
Serving Size: 4
Ingredients
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, chopped or pressed
  • 1 Tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 Pinch Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon Orange or Lemon zest
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
  • 1/8 Cup Dried Cranberries, chopped
  • 1 Cup Strongly Brewed Adagio Cranberry Tea
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl or marinade pan. If you are planning on grilling your chicken, set aside a small amount of the marinade mixture for later use. Place 4 chicken breasts(or other desired chicken pieces) in the mixture, refrigerate, and let marinate overnight, or for at least several hours.

If you are baking or broiling your chicken, place the chicken in an oven safe dish, then pour some of the marinade over it. This will keep it very moist and tender through the cooking process.

If you are grilling your chicken, brush the extra marinade on during the cooking process. This will add a hint of extra flavor, and keep the chicken tender.
