Jasmine Tea For Two Souffle'

You will need to assemble; a tea pot and infuser for brewing. A quart size or larger. microwavable bowl and fork. A small glass or medal bowl and whisk 2 parfait glasses or Serving bowls

Prep Time: 10 to 15 minutes

Ingredients
  • 2/3 cups Splenda (or granular sugar can be used)
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cold egg (Separated)
  • 2 teaspoons Jasmine Tea
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Option shown; 4 sugar free round peppermint candy's (crushed coarsely)
Directions
Brew the tea in the 2 cups of boiling water.
Remove the tea leaves and set aside tea.
In microwaveable bowl place: Splenda, cornstarch and salt.
Add the egg yolk and whisk until blended. Set aside.
In small bowl place egg white and beat until stiff. Fold into the above mixture.
Slowly blend the brewed tea into the mixture until smooth.
Cook uncovered in microwave on Roast or Moderate setting for 4 to 6 minutes (or until the consistency of pudding) Check and stir regularly.
Wait 5 minutes and pour into 2 parfait glasses.
Top with the crushed candies and serve either warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
(Whipped Cream or Caramel make delicious delicious topping choices)
