Darjeeling Chai OatmealSubmitted by: Kelly BrainardOatmeal cooked with Darjeeling #22 and chai spices. Prep Time: 15 minutes Serving Size: 3
Brew very strong darjeeling #22 with the tea and water, steep less that 5 minutes to avoid bitterness. Put 2 1/4 cups of the tea in a saucepan, bring to boil and add oatmeal and then spices, stir. Cover and reduce heat to low, stir occasionally for 5-7 minutes. Add honey to taste. Serve with plenty of milk! |
