Kukicha Crust Chicken Pest PizzaSubmitted by: John WinterEveryone loves pizza. Everyone loves Adagio tea. Why not combine the two!? This is a pizza, made from scratch, using the great taste of kukicha tea. Prep Time: 1 hour 20 minutes prep time 35 minutes cook time Serving Size: 10 slices
Combine the yeast, sugar, and tea in a bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes. Add the salt and oil to the liquid and mix. Mix in 2 cups of the flour. Place the dough on a floured surface and work in more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and let it rise for an hour. Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a circle (or whatever shape you want). Spread the pesto sauce on, place the toppings, and finish with cheese. Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 425 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is a golden brown. |
