Rooibos Oatmeal

A great balanced day-starter for winter.

Prep Time: 10 min.
Serving Size: serves 1-2
  • 1 c. rooibos tea, brewed
  • 1/4 c. oats
  • 1/4 c. granola or muesli
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. raisins or fruit bits
  • 1 tbsp. pine nuts or any other nut
  • 1 tbsp. shredded coconut
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • pinch cardamom
Place brewed rooibos in pan on low heat. Add oats and granola and mix. Add coconut and nuts and increase heat without boiling.
Add sugar and mix; add raisins or fruit and mix.
Stir in milk and spices. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 5 min.
