Salmon OchazukeSubmitted by: AnonymousThis traditional Japanese dish is easy to prepare and is perfect as a light lunch or a snack. Prep Time: 15 minutes when preparing with leftovers Serving Size: 4
- Prepare rice in a rice-cooker or boil as instructed on package. - Fry canned salmon in olive oil, season with salt and pepper. - Crush rice crackers in a ziploc bag, add nori. - Sprinkle the rice crackers and nori over the rice, add salmon and sesame seeds. - Pour green tea over the whole thing. Don't over-do it; make sure you pour enough so that the rice is porridge-like but not runny. - Add some salt to taste. - Enjoy! |
