Sweet & Smokey Baked BeansSubmitted by: Hilary BaumannLapsang Souchong reminded me of a campfire with its smoky scent and flavor. It's a perfect addition to an American Bar-B-Q favorite, baked beans. Prep Time: 5min/10min Serving Size: 2-4
1) Rinse canned beans and place in a pot without any water. 2) Mix together the tea, ketchup, molasses, and honey in a small bowl. 3) Add sauce to the beans, stir and bring up to a boil. 4) Turn down stove and continue to boil for about 5 minutes. 5) Add bacon and/or chives/onion to taste (optional) and serve. |
