Whipped Honeybush Hazelnut Tea Hot Chocolate

This over-the-top yummy, heartwarming tea drink will warm you to your toes on a cold winter's day. It is equally good sipped on a fall evening with a good book. Once you have tried this you will be forever hooked there is something about the Honeybush Hazelnut tea that makes chocolate a whole new experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Water, boiling
  • 1 Tablespoon Adagio Honeybush Hazelnut Tea
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey, Divided
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 Cup (1 Packet) Hot Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon finely chopped hazelnuts

Directions

Put boiling water in a teapot or measuring cup. Steep Honeybush Hazelnut tea with 1 Tablespoon honey for 5 minutes. After steeping strain into 2 cups and stir 1 tablespoon of cream to each cup.

While tea is steeping in a small mixing bowl beat Hot Cocoa Powder, 1 tablespoon Honey and ½ Cup Heavy Cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Top each cup of tea with half of the Whipped Cocoa mixture. Sprinkle the top with Hazelnuts and serve right away.
