Cocoa-mint Shortbread

Delicious Shortbread Cookies with a hint of mint. Perfect for holiday parties!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbs. Merry Mint Tea

Directions

1) Mix the butter and sugar in the bowl of a mixer until smooth and fluffy.

2) Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.

3) Spread, or press, into the bottom of a pan. You can use a square pan or a cake pan.

4) Poke the top of the dough with a fork and bake until done. This should take 10-15 minutes.

5) Cut the cookies into squares while they are still hot. Allow to cool and top Roth melted white chocolate and crushed Christmas candies.
