Flank Steak with Red Wine
Slow-cooked flank steak in Assam tea red wine. Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 4 hours on high, 8 hours on low4 h 5 m 2
- 1 flank steak, about 2 lb.
- 1 bottle red wine (any)
- 1/2 c. strong brewed Assam Melody tea
Remove flank steak from packaging and pat dry.
Pour about 1/4 c. red wine in a slow cooker and add about 1/4 c. Assam Melody Tea.
Place flank steak in the slow cooker. Add enough wine to cover the steak by about 2". Add the rest of the tea.
Cook 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Remove from slow cooker and cut into serving size pieces.
Great with vegetables, salad, and mashed potatoes as a side.
