Blood Orange Salmon

An easy and deliciously citrus salmon recipe for any time of the year. Prep time: 10-15 min. Chill time: 1 hour Cook time: 15-20 min.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. dark sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. Blood Orange Adagio Tea
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 c. scallion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 - 2 lb. salmon, preferably 1 large piece

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine all sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Refrigerate 1 hour. Place a 1 1/2 to 2 lb. piece of 1" thick salmon filet in a glass rectangular baking dish. Pour the sauce over the salmon and bake uncovered for 15 to 20 min. until the salmon is flaky when tested with a fork. Remove the salmon from the baking dish and serve on a bed of rice.
