Pork Chops A L'Orange
Sweet and fruity baked pork chops. Prep time: 10 min. Cook time: 45 min.55 m 2
- 6 boneless pork chops
- 1 tsp. minced onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1 tsp. blood orange tea leaves
- 1/2 c. hot water
Brew tea in water and let steep 5 min. Strain.
Preheat oven to 325°F. Place pork chops in a baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and minced onion. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, orange juice, and brewed tea in a bowl. Pour over pork chops. Cover dish and bake for 30 min. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 min. or until pork reaches internal temperature of 155°F.
