Peachy Green Tea Smoothie

Replacing juice with green tea in a fruit smoothie reduces sugar and adds valuable antioxidants, plus a refreshing flavor.

  • 1 c. brewed Adagio green tea of choice
  • 1 frozen, peeled banana
  • 2-3 whole peaches, pit removed but skin on
  • ice cubes
  • optional yogurt and honey to taste


Blend tea and fruit, then add ice cubes until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.

    What a delicious idea! The green tea added a nice flavor where water would have taken away (I used some oolong I had sitting around). It made the smoothie taste a lot richer, and, frankly, better! I added a bit of melon for sweetness as well. Totally a do-again!
