Cherry Marzipan Oolong Granola

A tea-infused granola that's delicious with yogurt, smoothie bowls, milk, or on it's own.

Ingredients

  • *Dry Ingredients
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup raw almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
  • *Wet Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Cherry Marzipan Oolong tea, steeped and cooled - use 1 tsp tea leaves to 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 Tbs ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix dry ingredients in a glass baking dish and toast it in the oven for 10-15 minutes; stirring occasionally.

While the oats are toasting, combine the wet ingredients.

After the oats are toasted (they should be aromatic), drizzle the honey mixture over the oats. Stir until well combined.

On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form a single layer of the oat mixture.

Place the baking sheet back into the oven and turn the oven OFF. This will allow the granola to finish toasting without burning. Let it sit in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
