20 m 2

  • 8 oz. pasta, cooked
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Pi Lo Chun tea leaves
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. olive or vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning blend
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 carrot, grated
  • dash of ground black pepper

Brew the tea in hot water and let steep for 10 min.

While the tea steeps, prepare pasta according to package directions. When the noodles are ready, remove from heat and drain. In a small bowl, mix the spices, salt, and sugar with the grated carrot and onion. Add oil and vinegar. Add the brewed and strained tea to the bowl and stir well. Pour mixture over noodles and mix until the noodles are covered. Chill for 2 hours for better flavor.
