Hojicha Tea Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

  • Chocolate chip or chocolate chunk ice cream


Remove ice cream from freezer and set aside. Steep one heaping teaspoon of tea per cup of water for 1-2 minutes. Make as much tea as you like and use when you desire. Mix 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of warm tea grounds into each scoop of ice cream. Do not over mix. Return to freezer and refreeze. Serve with cookies of choice. Makes a very good mild tea flavored crunchy, chewy ice cream.
