Hojicha Rice

For added flavor and nutrition, add this lovely color tea to your rice.

Prep Time: 20-25 minutes
Serving Size: as many as you like
  • Use 2 teaspoons of fresh Hojicha per cup of water - I like to use a French Press for making tea.
  • Steep 2 cups steeped Hojicha tea for every 1 cup of uncooked rice.
Prepare rice in ordinary fashion - adding rice to boiled tea instead of water.
