Tea-infused couscous

  • 1 10-oz. package of couscous
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. Wuyi oolong tea leaves
  • 2 c. water


Brew 1 c. oolong tea by steeping 1 tsp. tea leaves in 1 c. hot water for 5 min.

Prepare couscous according to package directions, using butter instead of olive oil and substituting brewed tea for half of the water.

Try using different flavors of couscous. The Toasted Pine Nut flavor is especially good.
