Cranberry Tea and Mint Rice
A simple rice dish. Truly simple and tasty. Serve with pork or chicken for a fantastic side dish. Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 15 min.20 m 2
- 2 tsp. cranberry tea leaves
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- several sprigs fresh mint (to taste)
- 1 c. basmati rice
Brew tea in hot water. Steep 5 min. and strain.
Crush the mint with a mortar and pestle. Add brewed tea, rice, and mint (to taste) to pot. Cook rice according to rice directions.
