Spearmint Hot Chocolate

A fun way of livening up hot chocolate by using spearmint tea instead of regular water.

  • 1 tsp. spearmint tea leaves
  • 1 pkg. hot chocolate mix
  • 1 c. water
  • whipped cream (optional)
  • miniature marshmallows (optional)


Boil water and brew tea using your preferred method (infuser, IngenuiTea, sachet) for 5 min. Add hot chocolate mix and top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired. For extra minty flavor, stir with a candy cane.

    What a good idea! The mint tea elevates the taste of the hot chocolate really well, meaning that with every sip you get both mint and chocolate. I'll definitely be making this come winter!
