Jasmine Vinaigrette with Salad Greens

Try using this for a salad of mixed greens, water chestnuts, and toasted almonds

Prep Time: 1 day for infusion of vinegar Prep time: 5 min.
Serving Size: serves 4
  • 3/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. white balsamic vinegar that has been infused with 1/2 tsp. jasmine tea
  • 4 c. mixed salad greens
  • 1 4-oz. can water chestnuts
  • 1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
The day before making the dressing, infuse 1/2 tsp. of jasmine tea in 1/4 c. of white balsamic vinegar.
Place the infused vinegar in a deep bowl and then slowly whisk in the olive oil. When combined, toss this into the salad mixture of greens, water chestnuts, and toasted almonds. You might sprinkle fried chow mein noodles on top rather than croutons.
