Chicoriccino Rub Steak

A delicious spiced rub that brings out the steak flavor.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs Chicoriccino tea, ground up using a coffee or tea grinder
  • 4 Tbs taco seasoning mix
  • 2 (1 inch thick) ribeye steaks
  • 1 Tbs canola oil

Directions

1. In a small bowl combine the ground up tea and taco seasoning.

2. Lay steaks on a large plate and coat them liberally with rub mix.

3. Heat a large cast iron skillet on high.

4. Add a tablespoon of oil to skillet, swirl it around and add steaks.

5. Cook steaks for 3 minutes on each side.

6. Remove steaks and place on a clean plate, tent with foil and let rest for 5 minutes before cutting into them.

7. Serve after resting. Enjoy!
