Tips for Adagio Cranberry Tea

Find it a nuisance to take time to brew the tea for each recipe? Here's a couple of time saving tips.

Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Serving Size: varies
1) BREW TEA BY THE PITCHER. Use 5 TBLS tea brewed in 4 cups of water for 5 minutes. Remove tea leaves and add any desired sweeteners. Pour into pitcher containing 4 more cups of water. Now it's quickly available for:
a) Iced tea (add 1/16 tsp of cinnamon per cup),
b) Holiday oatmeal (prepare per directions but subsitute tea for water and if using plain oatmeal, add 1/8 tsp cinnamon and 2 TBL raisins per serving),
c) Rice dishes - instead of water, use 1/2 chicken broth and 1/2 Adagio Cranberry tea (for all types of rice). Add dried cranberries and/or raisins if desired. Top with slivered almonds.

Don't want tons of Cranbery tea foods within a few days?
2) FREEZE THE TEA IN 1 CUP INCREMENTS. Pyrex covered bowls work well. When frozen, let them set out a few minutes, run cold water over the bottom of the bowl until they slide out and refreeze in plastic bags (so they don't tie up your bowls). Then whenever you need a cup, thaw one out in fridge or microwave.
