- 1 red apple (I use gala)
- 4 tbsp sugar
- a pinch or so off the following. taste the cinnamon sugar as you go: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, clove
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup strong honeybush hazelnut tea
Mix the spices and sugar, and add lemon to the tea. Very thinly slice the apples, avoiding the core and removing seeds. Dip each slice in the lemony tea, then pat slightly dry before sprinkling with cinnamon sugar. In an air fryer with a dehydrate setting, dehydrate slices for 7 hours on 350 degrees. Enjoy!
